THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL

SciensBuilding Solutionsis seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly-skilled Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Installerto join our growing team ofprofessionals.Thetechnicianwill perform routine installation and checkout on a variety of systems utilizing codes, company procedures, engineering drawings, andpersonnelanalysis. Develops a positive interface with the customer to ensure confidence and satisfaction with the system installation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well)

  • Experienced in fire alarm, voice/data, and security installation.
  • Knowledge ofthe following:
  • Commercial & industrial 3-phase electrical power systems.
  • Installation of all types of electrical conduit.
  • Installation of switchgear, transformers, and panelboards.
  • Completes paperwork, including but not limited to, timesheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. Keeps as-built drawings current.
  • Responsible to ensure all employees embrace our safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Solid working knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
  • Two to five years of experience as an installer.
  • Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
  • Goodcommunicationskills.
