Role: Laboratory Animal Technician

Location: Boston MA

Contract Duration: 13 weeks contract with a possibility of extension

Pay Rate: Up To $26/hr

Work Schedule: 40hrs/week

Shift:
08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

AG Globe Services is one of the major providers of clinical and non-clinical healthcare staffing across the United States. We work with Clinical and Non-Clinical professionals to be deployed at Long- Term Healthcare facilities, Hospitals, Medical Centers and Behavioral Health Facilities.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS (Applicants will be denied if these requirements are not met)
  • Covid Vaccine and Booster Shot
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Certificate 1 preferred: Asst Laboratory Animal Tech, and Certificate 2 preferred: Laboratory Animal Technician
  • Laboratory Animal Technician 1-3 years related work experience required.
  • One year of experience working with animals or in a lab animal environment.
  • Must be able to follow detailed instruction and carry through with minimal supervision. Must be able to work well as part of a team.
  • Must not be overly allergic to animals so as to affect ability to work with laboratory animals.
  • Basic familiarity with computers.
  • Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Knowledge of routine rodent handling/restraint and technical procedures.
  2. Previous work experience with laboratory animals.
