Sutter Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Rehabilitation Specialist position in Orinda, California.

Position Overview: Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides clinical supervision and serves as a clinical instructor for students.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops individually designed physical treatment programs for patients.
  • Completes and documents patient evaluations and tests.
  • Assesses and provides treatment based on patient's plan of care.
  • Coordinates patient care with other providers and support team members.
  • Provides clinical supervision and serves as a clinical instructor for students.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Licensed as a PT-Physical Therapist, or approved license applicant, or resident training program employee.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience, including required Lymphedema experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
  • Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Pay Range is $60.10 to $75.12 / hour.

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
