As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating with the perioperative nurse, preparing sterile supplies and equipment, and assisting the surgeon during procedures. Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and obtain equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Prepare equipment and supplies according to manufacturer's recommendations
  • Monitor and maintain sterile fields during procedures
  • Prepare medications and solutions as directed by the Registered Nurse
  • Maintain accountability for instruments and supplies throughout procedures
  • Consistently follow safety procedures and protocols

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Graduated from a surgical technologist program OR 1 year of hospital experience as a surgical technologist
  • Certification as a CST or TS-C preferred
  • Strong understanding of AORN and regulatory standards
