Location: Torrance, CA (2 days a week onsite)

Rate: Based on Experience

Summary

Contract POS IT Platform Specialist to assist in the IT Implementation and End-User support role. The client is implementing a new ERP system (Restaurant365) and POS (Toast) and start configurating in January and expect to completion of transition in June.

Hybrid onsite schedule, 1-2 days per week

Description:

We are looking for an IT Platform Specialist to assist in implementing and troubleshooting our new ERP system. This role involves a wide range of infrastructure tasks, from designing internal system foundations to supporting the operation of POS systems and ERP systems. You will have the opportunity to engage with various IT systems and utilize your broad technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities to support smooth business operations. This is a critical position that ensures efficient operation of restaurant-specific systems and supports the IT infrastructure of both our restaurants and headquarters.

3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management (including servers, networks, and operating systems)

* Experience in operating POS systems (e.g., Toast, Aloha) and ERP systems (e.g., Restaurant365)

* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Experience providing end-user support and handling IT system and infrastructure failures

* Documentation skills: Ability to clearly create and manage system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Preferred Skills & Experience

* Experience with IT systems in the restaurant industry

* Experience with POS systems such as Toast, Square, Restaurant365
