Job Overview
We are looking for an IT Platform Specialist to assist in implementing and troubleshooting our new ERP system. This role involves a wide range of infrastructure tasks, from designing internal system foundations to supporting the operation of POS systems and ERP systems. You will have the opportunity to engage with various IT systems and utilize your broad technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities to support smooth business operations. This is a critical position that ensures efficient operation of restaurant-specific systems and supports the IT infrastructure of both our restaurants and headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
[Technical Assistance & End-User Support]
• Offer front-line technical support to end users, assisting with issues related to POS systems, ERP systems, and other IT infrastructure.
• Work with the IT vendors and team to resolve user-reported system or hardware issues in a timely manner, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure IT-related documentation is accurate and up to date, helping standardize IT knowledge across the organization.
[Support IT Infrastructure Operations]
• Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of the POS system, ERP system, and documentation management systems to ensure smooth business operations.
• Help monitor system performance and provide basic troubleshooting and error resolution.
• Provide support in the operation of servers, networks, and other core IT systems that support the business infrastructure.
• Assist in creating and maintaining system documentation, including configurations, operational manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
[Optimizing IT Operations]
• Help identify and report opportunities for improving system performance, efficiency, and security.
• Support efforts to implement small-scale system optimizations and updates, focusing on ensuring reliability and enhancing overall system operations.
Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management (including servers, networks, and operating systems)
• Experience in operating POS systems (e.g., Toast) and ERP systems (e.g., Restaurant365)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience providing end-user support and handling IT system and infrastructure failures
• Documentation skills: Ability to clearly create and manage system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Experience with IT systems in the restaurant industry
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast, Square, Restaurant36
