Cytek Biosciences, Inc. is recruiting for a Sr. Algorithm Scientist (Req# 1013) in Seattle, Washington. Job duties: Develop and deploy sophisticated image and signal processing and data classification algorithms for multi-spectral and cell imaging platforms within our Flow Cytometry team Contribute key features in the development of the next-generation spectral and imaging flow cytometry analysis software. Design, implement and deploy algorithmic solutions to support real-time instrument operation including object detection, segmentation, and instrument calibration. Design, implement and deploy algorithmic solutions to advance our data analysis tool offerings including complex shape and texture analysis, auto-gating, statistical classification, and clustering with special emphasis on machine learning and deep learning classification algorithms. Employ software libraries, tools and best practices to implement efficient, scalable, and reusable software solutions. Communicate and collaborate effectively with our interdisciplinary R&D teams to research and solve complex problems to facilitate new product development and improve existing products. Provide guidance both within and outside the team on algorithms that impact instrument operation and data analysis for different applications. Use strong communication skills to provide clear, concise explanations of complex concepts in data analysis to biologists, application support staff and customers to facilitate application support and customer adoption. Education and Experience: Master's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus five (5) years of relevant experience. Also required are: Expertise in machine learning techniques, especially deep learning, for image and signal classification required. Relevant experience developing, implementing, and testing complex algorithms in C++ in production environments. Deep knowledge of Python and working with machine learning platforms such as TensorFlow/Keras/Pytorch required. To apply, email mfan@cytekbio.com referencing job title and Req#.
