Senior Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are in search of an experienced and seasoned Senior Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager to lead our team in sunny San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a stable work history, with a remarkable 10+ years of expertise in commercial and healthcare project management within a medium or large plumbing and HVAC construction company. Familiarity with OSHPD/HCAP requirements is essential, as is proficiency in construction software, including Bluebeam. A Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred, and local candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the management of plumbing and HVAC projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with OSHPD/HCAP requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities, including procurement and subcontractor management.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints, ensuring adherence to local and state regulations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, facilities, and stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Maintain thorough documentation of project milestones, work performed, and financials.
- Uphold safety standards and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in plumbing and HVAC construction, with a focus on commercial and healthcare projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of OSHPD/HCAP requirements and healthcare project nuances.
- Proficiency in construction software, particularly Bluebeam, and other related tools.
- A Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- A proven and stable work history in commercial and healthcare project management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, along with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and project stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and codes.
- Dedication to delivering top-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction.
