Job Overview:
We're looking for a proactive and dedicated Assistant Project Manager to support our growing team in San Diego, CA. This role is crucial for the smooth operation and successful delivery of our commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, offering an excellent opportunity for professional development in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities :
Assist in managing and coordinating commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from initiation through to completion.
Keep accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and correspondence.
Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to meet and exceed project objectives.
Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost-saving.
Implement quality control protocols to ensure projects align with specifications and standards.
Address project challenges with innovative and effective solutions.
Ensure project compliance with all local building codes and regulations.
Engage with clients, providing regular updates and responding to queries promptly.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in construction or a related industry, with a preference for roles in project management.
Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A collaborative spirit, with a strong inclination towards teamwork.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
A stable and consistent employment history.
Residency in San Diego, CA, or willingness to relocate.
