Highlights of the Opportunity
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE position consisting of .5 patient care, .3 precepting and .2 administrative time.
- Provide clinical teaching and precepting to residents and students on rotation to meet standards as required by program accrediting bodies, including The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the Family Medicine curriculum.
- Precept at least three (3) shifts in the Guthrie Robinson Street Primary Care Practice per week, on average.
- Present at least twelve (12) forty-minute lectures as part of the core family medicine lecture series.
- Assist the program director in the overall organization, implementation, and supervision of the educational program and curriculum areas as assigned by the Program Director.
- Oversee residents in patient care, including writing notes, performing histories and physicals, completing discharge summaries, and collaboratively engaging residents in patient care with the attending physician.
Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $275,000 annually.
- Starting Bonus up to $100,000.
- Medical school loan repayment available up to $150,000.
- Full benefits including medical, dental, and disability insurance.
- Guthrie Retirement Savings Plan (403B) with employer match and age-based contributions.
- Allowance for licensure fees Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and renewals.
Candidate Requirements
- DO/MD degree.
- Active unrestricted New York State and Pennsylvania license.
- Active DEA license.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine.
- Meets all teaching faculty standards as required by accredited bodies.
Work-Life Balance
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. traditional schedule.
- Generous Paid Time Off.
- CME-$3,500 for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies.
