Mammography Technologists are responsible for the following:

  • Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and collects accurate patient history.
  • Properly enters patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.
  • Assists Radiologists with invasive procedures as needed.
The Mammography Tech performs mammography exams, screening and diagnostic studies, and operates imaging equipment to assist the Radiologist in the diagnosis of disease.

Qualifications for this position include:
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of post registry preferred
  • ARRT Mammography certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Conditions of Employment

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
