Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join an Emergency Department team in Forth Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room environment during night shifts. The Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (Nights) will be responsible for triaging patients, administering treatments, coordinating with healthcare team members, and ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations.   • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in the emergency department.
  • Perform triage, administer medications, and provide wound care and other treatments as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of symptoms, treatments, and progress.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and nursing protocols; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, including trauma, cardiac arrests, and other critical conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on discharge instructions, medications, and ongoing care needs.
Candidate requirements Associate degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required.
