Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize and direct Maintenance Dept personnel activities.
  • Proactively manage related expenditures and labor costs.
  • Prepare and manage projects and other improvement activities.
  • Proactively support the needs, goals, and targets of the other departments at YMMC.
  • Direct daily supervision of Maintenance Dept personnel.
  • Planning and coordination of activities of Maintenance personnel related to:
    • Work Order scheduling and completion
    • Planned and Autonomous Maintenance
    • Project Team Activities
    • Continuous Improvement activities (using root cause analysis w/zero base loss targets)
    • Training and 5S (maintenance and improvement)
Qualifications

Education / Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED. 5-10 years experience in areas listed above
Other Required Skills:
  • Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project)
Preferred Skills:
  • Technical School training in related fields desired
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
