About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Taymax Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of club operations, ensuring an exceptional member experience, and working closely with the Club Manager to build a positive and enthusiastic team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Management: Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
- Customer Service: Ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines and provides exceptional service to all members, prospective members, and guests.
- Scheduling and Supervision: Assist in scheduling and supervising staff to ensure that all shifts are regularly covered.
- Front Desk Operations: Lead by example with involvement in all front desk-related activities, including greeting members and guests, answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating all member requests.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will also need to be proficient in basic computer skills and have a valid driver's license. Additionally, you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
