Job Summary: The Early Intervention Speech Pathologist is responsible for assessing and providing evidence-based support for students with communicative disabilities across various educational settings, focusing on enhancing communicative competence.

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize a broad range of assessment strategies and analysis skills
  • Develop Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collect and analyze data for progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues on various initiatives
  • Demonstrate high-level organization and time management skills
  • Strategically deliver services to students

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Pennsylvania Department of Education Certificate in Speech-Language Impaired PK-12 required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • License to practice Speech Language Pathology issued by PA Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs preferred
  • Excellent understanding of Pennsylvania and Federal Special Education Regulations
  • Strong clinical competence to support a wide range of communicative needs
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer technology and Augmentative-Alternative Communication
  • Compliance with health, safety, and confidentiality regulations

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, 193-day position in itinerant locations throughout Bucks County.

Travel: Travel is dependent on the assignment within Bucks County and is reimbursed in accordance with current IRS guidelines and rates.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance: Citizenship or work authorization to work in the United States required.
