Job Responsibilities:

This position will serve as general clerical support within the Human Resources Department. This position may also serve as back up coverage for the front reception desk.
  • Answer main HR phone line and direct calls as necessary
  • Performs record management, retrieval and storage duties for benefit information in
  • Worxtime and other applications as necessary
  • Run WinCap reports as necessary
  • Ensures COBRA packets are sent by the vendor in a timely manner
  • Ensures benefit plans run smoothly through regular auditing, investigation and resolution of discrepancies
  • Generates and mails letters for various HR correspondences
  • Electronic filing in SchoolFront
  • Assist in preparations and implementation of open enrollment annually
  • Review and respond to daily emails and phone calls regarding New York State Certification
  • Review TEACH work queue on a daily basis
  • Create digital files for certification applicants
  • Collect certification processing fees either in person or by mail
  • Provide support for all HR admin functions
  • Other duties may be assigned that are relevant to the civil service job description for this title
