Job Summary AVT Simulation is seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Manufacturing Engineer at AVT Simulation, you will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and contributing to the development of state-of-the-art simulation solutions. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Supports the design and development of customer-specific products with consideration to achieving manufacturability, quality, safety and cost goals. Tasks include: Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of product quality in the manufacturing process. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and testing, to streamline the manufacturing process and address any issues that may arise. Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality control protocols. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and implement changes to enhance overall performance. Material Management: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the availability of materials and components required for manufacturing. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address manufacturing challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to meet project deadlines. Compliance: Ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. Training: Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel to ensure proper execution of established processes and procedures. Innovation: Stay informed about the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance AVT Simulation's manufacturing capabilities. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a technology-intensive or simulation industry. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques. Proficiency in CAD software and experience working with manufacturing simulation tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders. Must be comfortable operating an array of small and large tools, and willing to learn how to use tools in safe manner. Essential Physical Requirements The employee must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
