Job Overview

Allied Universal is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Clearance Eligible Security Professional. This position requires strong security protocols, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Job:

This role involves conducting regular patrols within and around the facility to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information. The ideal candidate will have prior military experience, intermediate computer skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Security Patrols: You will patrol the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
  • Greeting Guests and Employees: You will greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
  • Reporting Safety Concerns: You will follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel.
  • Responding to Emergency Situations: You will respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms, acting as a first responder in emergency situations.

Requirements:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience is required.
  • Clearance Eligibility: You must be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites, effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service skills, and prior military experience or minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site are preferred.
