Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Data to join our global data community. In this role, you'll help gather and organize information related to data products that support the development of scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional and agile project teams, including Data Product Managers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders, to build trustworthy data products that drive self-service analytics, product innovation, and data discovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Data product team in gathering, analyzing, and organizing the data product requirements for functions including Guest, Marketing, Revenue Management, Sales, Loyalty, Finance, and Operations.

• Develop technical deliverables, review technical documents, and provide input to data product plans and milestones.

• Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility, and conformity with standards.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Stakeholders, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams to execute data product roadmaps.

• Promote and facilitate the development of self-service capabilities for business users in accessing and reporting business information.

• Provide inputs to define, implement, and exercise best practices in information management across the organization, ensuring data integrity.

• Identify and implement industry best practices related to data governance and analytics.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business and technical requirements analysis, documenting use cases, and drafting data and BI requirements.

• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively with a strong customer service orientation.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong SQL experience is highly preferred.

• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong work ethic with personal integrity; self-directed and motivated with a curiosity to learn and teach.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.

• Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, even in ambiguous situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the hospitality industry is a plus.

• Familiarity with IDeaS Revenue Management system is a plus.

• Experience working in cloud data warehouse or BI project environments.

• Familiarity with data visualization and design tools.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Primary Skills

• Business Analyst with extensive experience in data and SQL.
