What you'll be doing as a Guest Service Representative: Take your customer service skills to the next level. There is a potential to become a permanent employee of the Convention Center. As the Guest Service Representative, you will assist Attendees, exhibitors, and other staff members throughout the event. You will provide information about schedules, directions, facilities, and other inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Additionally, monitoring the flow of guests boarding escalators, ensuring guest safety at all times, and monitoring crowds. You will need to verbally control your assigned area and be able to think of your feet and know when to ask management for help. Available shifts: Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day) & 2nd Shift (Evening) One paid training day (date TBD) July 24th- July 28th Morning Shift: 6:00am – 12:00pm Night Shift: 1:00pm – 7:00pm Job requirements: Must be able to pass background check that includes all criminal and sex offender records. Must be comfortable working in a high stress and crowed environment. Must have good multitasking abilities. Must have a professional appearance and excellent English communication skills. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, walk up/down stairs, and lift up to 50lbs. Must work the full event.
