The City of Thibodaux is accepting online applications for the position of Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police. The City of Thibodaux is looking for a qualified applicant with administrative and clerical experience who is looking for a career with a well-established employer. Law enforcement experience is preferred. This position requires proficiency in managing schedules, organizing meetings, handling correspondence, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to excellent verbal and written communication skills, competent computer skills, and maintaining training schedules and certifications. As the executive assistant to the Chief of Police, this applicant will be required to assist the Chief with daily tasks, prepare reports and manage communications. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education: Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operations, technical, or office processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency. College degree preferred by not required.

Experience: Over three years up to including five years.

Certifications: Valid Louisiana Driver's License
