Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Labeling team at our Naples campus is actively seeking a Labeling Specialist Associate. The primary responsibility for the Labeling Specialist Associate is toimplement and maintain global labeling database and label formats; plan, coordinate, create and determine size arrangements of illustrative material and copy for labeling; support internal and externally contracted manufacturing with label printing system knowledge serving the global labeling database and print stations. The Labeling Specialist Associate will assist with verifing and maintaining product data in shared global product database. Essential skills for this position would include strong computer background, bachelor's degree and a strong attention to detail. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Using multiple label design software platforms, coordinate information to populate labeling database and label formats/templates and supported printing equipment internally and externally where labels for Arthrex products will be printed.
  • Support Packaging Engineering and Regulatory Affairs to develop labeling in compliance to company standards, FDA requirements and the ISO Directive, planning and coordinating activities to support development and production needs.
  • Prepare, coordinate and review documentation required for new/revised labeling; may also include management of translation activities at a future date. Develop Engineering Change Order (ECO) records and associated documentation to support Engineering activities.
  • This position will also serve as a contact for trouble-shooting system problems, working with software subcontractors to maintain operation of the software, and for equipment solutions when they arise.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Proficiency in the use of Agile PLM and SAP ERP systems highly desirable.
  • Experience in medical device labeling preferred.
Skills:
  • Assist in designing labelsin multiple software environments. Including but not limited to Loftware and Innovatum/ROBAR.
  • Data entry.
  • Keen attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Elementary knowledge of label symbology and layouts used in the medical device industry.
  • Elementary knowledge of label printing using Zebra printers.
  • Ability to navigate PLM and ERP systems.
  • Ability to comprehend process related quality documents (i.e.- work instructions, procedures, standards, inspection plans, etc.)
  • Assist in building engineering change orders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in written form).
  • Ability to organize effectively.
  • Knowledge of MS office.
