Job Details:

/n

• Conduct procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data
/n• Verify patient identification using professional manners and methods, obtain patient history, and ensure patient safety
/n• Document pregnancy status on patients of child bearing age
/n• Obtain images per protocols and manipulate images according to established protocols
/n• Perform multi-planar and 3D reconstruction of image data
/n• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of CT algorithms and select appropriate window and level settings
/n• Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients according to protocols
/n• Establish intravenous lines and administer IV contrast following safe injection procedures
/n• Check appropriate lab values before contrast injection per protocol
/n• Maintain thorough understanding of PACS system and transmit images to QC, EMR, EPIC and PACS
/n• Verify and segment images at QC station and complete orders in timely manner
/n• Run schedule creating consistent workflow and volunteer for challenging tasks and new research
/n• Review patient charts and reports for correlation
/n• Maintain clean and orderly work environment
/n• Precept new employees and students
/n• Must have previous Siemens experience
/n• Completion of accredited educational program in Radiological Science required
/n• Must be registered with American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible
/n• Advanced certification in CT required
/n• Must maintain current competency in HCP BLS
