We're seeking an individual with exceptional technical expertise in commercial aircraft seating and interior products. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing comprehensive plans and budgets for small to mid-sized projects. Your critical analysis skills will drive cost-saving initiatives to enhance project profitability, while closely monitoring project performance metrics. You'll excel in identifying and resolving project challenges, offering strategic solutions to ensure successful project outcomes. What YOU Will Do: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for small to mid-size projects and suggest appropriate adjustments to ensure adherence to the established project plan, schedule, and budget. Record and document delays, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule to ensure smooth project operations. Pursue all cost-saving opportunities to maximize project profitability. Perform critical path analysis and prepare and implement work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects. Conduct meetings, consolidate, and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s). Identify and react to project problems and recommend solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications. Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion. Oversee and coordinate the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines. Liaise between program management, design, certification, project teams, and line management. Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Review project and budget status, manage schedules and prepare reports. Monitor and assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Direct the work of employees assigned on projects in technical manufacturing and administrative areas. Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and testing. Meet program schedules and budgets and maintain the integrated master schedules for project(s). Qualifications you must have: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position. Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
