Job Title: Benefits Analyst
Location: Hybrid in Oakland, CA
Pay Range: Starting from $23.00 per hour
Whats the Job?
Have a need for a benefits analyst to perform the following:
Audits and reconciles vendor invoices for all Total Rewards programs for payment.
Performs monthly benefit audits and reviews as necessary.
Assists in all aspects of employee benefits program administration including ongoing review of policies and procedures covering health and welfare insurance, retirement plans, income continuance, workers compensation, FMLA, ADA and time off programs.
Assists with monitoring, reviewing, auditing, and reporting on vendor practices, performance, and activities.
Provides support to Sr. Benefit Analysts in the research and analysis of benefits issues and challenges.
Be a subject matter resource to our HR call center on interpretation of benefit plan policies and employee escalations.
Ensures integrity and accuracy of benefits-related data.
Assists with vendor contract renewals/M&A activity.
Required Skills:
Strong Microsoft skills, proficiency in excel is required
Knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulatory and compliance laws is a plus.
Benefits Experience 2 years
Program and process management
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent experience of 3+ years of benefit and retirement related experience.
Software Skills Required:
Microsoft Office, proficient in Excel
