Job Summary: The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our operations. This role requires a tech-savvy leader with strong financial acumen and experience in both B2B and B2C environments. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, strategic, and capable of driving operational excellence through effective use of technology, internal dashboards, and robust financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Drive and scale operations to support the companys growth objectives. Develop and implement efficient processes, systems, and best practices.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans. Ensure alignment of operational strategies with overall business goals.
- Technology Integration: Leverage technology to improve operational efficiency. Implement and manage internal dashboards and other tech-centric solutions.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure financial targets are met and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve operational performance. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using technology to drive operational efficiency. Experience with internal dashboards and tech-centric solutions.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively. Experience in both B2B and B2C environments is highly desirable.
