Project Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team on projects. Design and Analysis: Develop and oversee the design of mechanical systems, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, and fire protection systems. Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure system performance and compliance with codes and standards. Review and approve designs created by junior engineers and drafters. Code and Standards Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical designs adhere to relevant building codes, standards, and regulations. Evaluate and recommend renewable energy solutions when appropriate. Construction Support: Provide technical support during the construction phase, including responding to contractor inquiries and conducting site visits. Assist in commissioning and startup activities for mechanical systems. Safety Compliance: Promote and ensure safety compliance in mechanical engineering activities and designs. Innovation and Research: Conduct research and development activities to explore new technologies and materials that can enhance mechanical system performance.
