Position Overview: This position is responsible for the daily accounting transactional processing and reporting including account analysis, general ledger and financial reporting. The individual will perform moderately complicated accounting work exercising independent judgment and action. Essential Responsibilities Daily reconciliation of program funds for multiple programs. Daily wire of funds to client. Match reporting and resolve discrepancies. Process driver refunds and special payment requests. Reconcile vendor accounts and statements. Coordinate with vendors if errors occur or problem is identified. Assist with month end activity, including month end reconciliation report. Assist with weekly payments, both checks, IVR and Lockbox. Maintain positive vendor relationships by providing the highest level of customer service. Uphold SOX controls, company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Accounting/ accounts payable experience preferred. Proficient with a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets. (MS Word & Excel). Advanced Excel skills a plus. Demonstrates high sense of urgency and personal initiative related to customer service and problem resolutions. Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Executes all duties with follow-through and professionalism, with high level of business ethics. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding all matters concerning the company, employees and its customers. Works well in a team environment and has the ability to work with individuals from all business areas. Utilizes strong time management and organizational skills. High School diploma or GED.
