Planner/ Replenishment

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSThe position will plan and control all purchasing activities supporting assigned vendors. They will balance purchase and inventory levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer service levels, inventory turns goals and capacity utilization.The position will develop feasible weekly bucketed purchasing schedules by sku to vendor and work to install and measure a compliance metric to measure performance. They will also coordinate toll filling requirements with plants, customer service and suppliers.This role will execute Lean, Continuous Improvement ProjectsThis role will analyze, develop, and test programs and user interfaces required for implementations or enhancements for our Supply Chain systems. They are responsible for troubleshooting any system issues and working with users to gather requirements for new functionality and model enhancements.POSITION REQUIREMENTSFORMAL EDUCATION:Required:Bachelor's degree or 2 years experiencePreferred :Bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain related fieldKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Required:1-2 years experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Operations, SalesPreferred:APICS CPIM CertificationBlue Yonder Solutions, Business Objects-DSF & SCIS, MES, QAD, REACH, AOM, IVAN, SCPWTECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Required:Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects, concurrently.Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred:Procurement, Technical or Manufacturing experience within the coatings industry.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS10%#J-18808-Ljbffr
