This role focuses on the strategic planning, project management and execution of fixture programs that bring our mission & vision to life. The Fixture Program Planner leads projects for JOANN through managing short and long term fixture buying & inventory management strategies.

**SCOPE**

Accountable for the strategic planning and execution of store fixture development, inventory planning, forecasting, budget estimates, financial tracking and finalizing & executing buy plans. Plays a key role in supplier sourcing & pricing by supporting Value Realization group. They are responsible for managing daily activities, supplier relationships, and fixture buy plan management for new stores, remodel stores, rollouts, special projects, POGs and existing store replenishment.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Drives strategic project execution success through the evaluation, analysis, purchasing, and overall project management of all fixture programs. Makes decisions to optimize spend based on a keen focus on inventory management. Maximum emphasis is placed on providing accurate and constant communication to internal & external partners to ensure timely delivery and installation of fixtures and graphics for all projects. Ensures vendor details and specifications are current and accurate. Addresses field & project issues.

* Actively manages budget deliverables including forecasting for all programs. Ensures all project requisitions meet objective and align with budget. Provides financial updates and finds creative solutions for cost efficiencies; Sources multi-bid quoting that takes into consideration cost & production efficiencies. Monitor and evaluate to recommend programs for competitive pricing through bidding projects, vendors and/or annual renegotiation with Value Realization.

* Owns the daily management of fixture suppliers through regular communication, reporting, inventory and shipping logs. Develops forecasting and buy plans and tracks against multiple warehouse inventory levels. Create, review and approve requisitions to support all assigned projects.

* Plays in key role in the Design Development process for new fixture concepts. Identifies & evaluates prospective manufacturers, utilizing new and/or existing supplier base. Actively seeks value engineering opportunities. Sources prototypes for testing & approvals, and problem solves when managing change throughout the process. Solicits key cross functional stakeholder support and partners with departments across the company.

* Accountable for purchasing deliverables per project milestones. Milestones include timely order completion, floor plan reviews, communication detail & database management. Includes developing training tools & process documentation. Maintains strong cross functional partnerships and influence others via key process improvements to optimize time & efficiency.

**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE**

* Education Minimum: Bachelors' Degree -- Procurement; Fashion Merchandising; Accounting; Business

* Experience Minimum: No experience required

* Experience Preferred: 1 year of experience in procurement related field
