The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, financial data, and contracts to identify areas for improvement and provide valuable insights to enhance efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of billing, commissions, and carrier revenue, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. Ideally the candidate will reside in the Boston area, reporting in to the VP of Strategic Partnerships, with the ability to commute to the Boston Office a minimum of 2 days per week. (Note, candidates who reside in Chicagoland will be considered but must be available to commute to the Gallagher Headquarters office in Rolling Meadows, IL at least 2 times per week)Responsibilities:Build and maintain a database of all carrier and third party supplemental and override compensation agreements to include tracking renewal/renegotiation datesDevelop and maintain a strong understanding of billing, commissions, and carrier revenue, utilizing the AJG master charge filePerform in depth contract review for all Employee Benefits partnerships and provide comparison to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for consideration in negotiations as part of the Strategic Partnerships and Carrier relations team.Correspond directly with Account Executives, branch leaders, and senior carrier contacts to gather information and address inquiries related to carrier compensationUtilize strong analytical and organizational skills to develop and maintain spreadsheets for data analysis and reportingDevelop and maintain document filing systems to ensure easy access and retrieval of important informationNavigate the complexities of requests and provide timely responses to meet the needs of markets and the GBS fieldIdentify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance the management and efficiency in partnering with carriers and other third partiesPartner with the VP of Strategic Partnerships and other team members to track trends in carrier credits, sponsorships and other appropriate partner funding opportunities that support the expansion of Gallagher servicesStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in the Employee Benefits industry and insurance marketsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Employee Benefits or related industryWorking knowledge of the insurance markets and industry-specific regulationsStrong finance background with an understanding of billing, commissions, and carrier revenueExperience in contract review and comparisonExcellent verbal and written communication skills to correspond with various stakeholdersStrong analytical and organizational skillsProficiency in developing, analyzing, and maintaining spreadsheetsAbility to develop and maintain document filing systemsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines#LI-AM1Additional Information:On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.Below are the
