HarbourVest is an equal opportunity employer.This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.This Senior Business Analyst position is crucial for enhancing the utilization of Office 365 applications and tools within our organization. As an integral part of the IT Office 365 team, you will lead strategic projects to streamline business processes and foster improved collaboration. This role will be central to driving innovation and efficiency, ensuring our organization maximizes the benefits of Office 365.The ideal candidate is someone who:Operates with a continuous learning and improvement approach to deliver high quality and timely outcomes.Collaborates optimally with diverse roles and teams both in person and remote to achieve collective goals.An understanding of Office 365 applications and tools to drive strategic initiatives and optimize business processes.Proven experience in leading IT projects that enhance operational efficiency and collaboration within an organization.Strong analytical abilities to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive innovation.Superb communication skills to train and support users, and to collaborate with various teams.A genuine passion for using technology to improve business outcomes and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest technological advancements.What you will do:Contribute to product roadmap development and delivery to achieve strategic business objectives.Provide insights and recommendations to evaluate solution alternatives, ensuring that the highest business value is delivered.Drive effective business use by assisting in the day-to-day platform support, including the management of system upgrades, releases, and change control processes.Proactively seeks out challenges to identify and resolve potential issues with new development or ongoing operational support.Identify and implement efficiencies to optimize capabilities.Conduct or facilitate training and information sharing sessions with supporting documentation or reference material for employees and team members as needed.What you bring:Proven capabilities and experience in three or more of the following areas : Applications Development, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Change Management, User Experience Design, Security and Compliance, Enterprise Release Management, and Systems Support.Background in Office 365 and it's applicationsExperience with Agile software development, traditional project management, and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques.Successful results with large or sophisticated projects and processes from initiation through implementation, , and enterprise-wide roll-outs with partnership with technology vendors.Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience translating business and technical concepts or decisions with diverse audiences.Strengths with analytical, data, problem solving and collaboration skills.Attention to detail and quality to fulfill responsibilities.Education PreferredBachelor of Arts (B.A) or Science (B.S), or equivalent experienceExperience3-5 years or more, in Financial Services preferred#LI-Hybrid
