Janitorial Supervisor

SUMMARY:

The primary goal of this position is to provide leadership for the day-to-day performance of a small group of employees or shift. Ensure each task is completed to the level of expectation. The Supervisor understands the shift's purpose and has the ability to guide the team and is willing to be cross trained in all tasks. Performs other duties as assigned during a crew member's absence or when required. The Supervisor position requires flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to new circumstances as they arise. Must have the ability to switch tasks to respond to unexpected changes quickly, calmly and efficiently.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Time Keeping

Received, reviewed and file signing sheets. Coordinate and provide daily time records to Project Manager and Corporate and Operations staff.

Email and Text Communication and management of staff.

ITA

Work with Client to schedule periodic work.

Report when Periodic are completed.

Inspect building and take corrective action on tasks not completed.

Order Supply Management.

Emergency Procedure Management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
• Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
• Must demonstrate a clear knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines within industry to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and organizations.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the assigned facilities.
• Must demonstrate advanced knowledge of MS Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Must demonstrate the ability to manage supervisory staff, planning budgets, reviewing expenses, cutting costs, monitoring inventory, and looking for new ways to scale growth of the business and increase profitability.

Pay Rate - $18.50 Per Hour
