Gently is currently partnered with select brands for deliveries in Los Angeles.Full Stack EngineerWe seek a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our logistics startup, specializing in same-day shipping for e-commerce merchants and retailers. You will be crucial in developing our Warehouse Management System (WMS), improving our API, updating our website, and expanding our integration functionality with e-commerce and cloud communications platforms, like Shopify and Twilio. Your expertise in developing robust and scalable solutions will be instrumental in ensuring seamless order fulfillment and efficient communication processes.TasksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and develop user interfaces to help support logistics operations.Design, develop, and maintain solutions to synchronize order and inventory data between our logistics systems (databases and WMS) and e-commerce platforms.Build scalable integrations with Transportation Management Systems (TMSs) to optimize order routing, inventory management, and fulfillment processes.Develop and maintain integrations with cloud communications platforms, such as Twilio, to enable real-time notifications, alerts, and tracking updates for merchants and customers.Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of code to ensure reliability, data accuracy, and system stability.Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security protocols.Document processes, APIs, and system architectures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure effective onboarding of new team members.Use your skills and insights to help plan, develop, and own new tasks and projects.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 1-3 years of work experience is required.Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, preferably within the e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain domain.Technical requirements: Expertise in React is a must. Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js . Experience with PostgreSQL .Strong proficiency in building integrations with e-commerce platforms using RESTful APIs, webhooks, and other relevant technologies.Solid understanding of cloud platforms like AWS and knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker .Familiarity with cloud communications platforms like Twilio or SendGrid and experience incorporating messaging, voice, and notifications services.Experience with API design, development, and documentation using tools like Postman and Redocly .Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical challenges, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions within given timelines.Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMSs) and experience with industry-standard WMSs is a plus.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.BenefitsBase Salary: $100k - $125kAnthem Blue Cross PPO Medical, Dental, and Vision401k PlanUnlimited Paid Time OffIf you're thrilled by the idea of reinventing America's supply chain and building a brand that will impact communities across the United States, Gently is the opportunity for you.#J-18808-Ljbffr
