Role Summary:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be at the heart of our technology development, working across the entire stack to build and maintain our market-leading mortgage SaaS solution. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, innovative thinking, and a deep understanding of modern software development practices, particularly in the realm of SaaS and microservices architecture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Software: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software applications using React for the frontend and Golang, Python and Haskell for the backend.
  • Database Management: Implement and manage PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
  • Microservices Architecture: Design and develop microservices, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and efficiently integrated.
  • DevOps and Deployment: Utilize Docker for containerization and AWS Lambda for serverless computing to streamline the deployment and management of applications.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Code Quality and Reviews: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of quality.
  • Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues, ensuring smooth operation of applications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously improving our software development processes and practices.
  • Ownership Mindset: Take full ownership of your work, from development through testing and production, ensuring the success and reliability of the product.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with hands-on experience in SaaS and microservices architecture.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in React for frontend development.
  • Strong backend development skills with Python, Golang, and FastAPI.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
  • Familiarity with Docker and AWS Lambda.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
