The Customer Service/Order Entry specialist will ensure that day-to-day operations, within the Steam and Condensate - sales group, both meet and exceed the highest level of standard that Armstrong International and our customers expect This position will provide support and customer service to both internal/external customers. They will ensure customer orders are handled efficiently and with the utmost sense of urgency and care. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

• Order entry into Armstrong business system • Customer Service • Field phone calls and emails from representatives, customers, regional employees, OEMs, etc... • Manage/redirect phone calls, as required, directly related to orders, deliveries, shipments, lead times, and RFQs • Provide quotes to representatives, customers or direct them to the appropriate sales or technical representative for quote fulfillment • Work with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, and common carrier to expedite, modify or trace missing or delayed shipments • Filing documents and other paperwork Key Requirements Key Requirements

• Good organizational skills • Ability to multi-task • Ability to communicate professionally (both written and verbal) • Willingness to train/learn the position if applicable • Must be a culture fit willing to align and adapt to the Armstrong core values, and behaviors that make up the organization. • Physical and Mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the manufacturing environment. • Have the ability to adapt and quickly learn new system technologies and methods • Ability to work as/be part of a team • Computer skills - experience w/ MS Excel/Word (required) • Experience answering phones and handling multiple lines -Willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment • An interest/eagerness to improve professionally • Background in industrial/institutional customer service/sales or a related field • Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM • Ability to sit for long periods of time (6-8hrs) • Able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time • Typing and answering phones • Communicate with others, audibly, visually, verbally, written • Multi-task • Listen and follow instructions Education Level
