Job Overview

At Genesis Aspire Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems in various settings, ranging from residential buildings to industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Electrical Systems: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Interpret Blueprints and Technical Diagrams: Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to identify potential issues and ensure compatibility and safety of electrical systems.
  • Inspect and Test Electrical Components: Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, and identify potential issues. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment, to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and Resolve Electrical Problems: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with Construction and Maintenance Teams: Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams to complete projects, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Comply with Safety and Quality Standards: Comply with all safety and quality standards and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment and high-quality electrical systems.
  • Document and Report on Completed Jobs: Document and report on completed jobs and any deficiencies or requirements for further action, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients, ensuring satisfaction and building strong relationships.
Required Qualifications
  • Completion of an Electrician Apprenticeship Program or Equivalent Work Experience: Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in electrical systems and practices.
  • Valid Electrician License or Certification: Valid electrician license or certification, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of Electrical Systems: Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and power tools, ensuring proficiency and efficiency in electrical work.
  • Proficiency in Reading Blueprints and Technical Diagrams: Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams, ensuring accurate interpretation and identification of potential issues.
  • Understanding of Electrical Codes and Safety Standards: Understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry best practices.
