Position Overview: This position reports to the Quality Manager. The Quality Technician / Quality Administrator is responsible for supporting, improving, and enforcing the quality system at PCC Carson City. The primary responsibility is to perform specification and regulatory reviews, route revision changes to the appropriate parties for review, and support any necessary internal changes to maintain compliance. This position will support all functions of the Quality Team, including Lab PO submission, results reporting, customer source inspections, NDT technique writing, internal product and process audits, and support for external customer and regulatory audits.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDProficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and required programsPrevious manufacturing experience highly desiredExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in EnglishAbility to work independently and in a team environmentQD&T preferredResponsibilities/Job Duties: Support Quality Systems, including:Internal auditing under the direction of the Quality EngineerSupport customer audit activities, including checklist completionVerification of customer and regulatory requirements and specification revisionsSupport the development and completion of improvement projectsSupport the maintenance and improvement of documentation, including operating procedures and internal testing resultsProvide administrative support to other departments throughout the facility, including but not limited to Process Engineering, Product Engineering, Source Inspection, NDT Testing, and the Metallurgical LabPerform customer product auditsMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs.Perform any other tasks or duties as assignedPhysical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. (USD) based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours of paid time off every year, along with 10 paid holidays.
