Maintenance Technician, 1st shift

Maintenance Technician One of Inova's clients is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations and keep production equipment running safely and efficiently at their facility in Twinsburg. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical abilities along with experience maintaining industrial machinery. This is a direct hire position. Responsibilities: Carry out preventative maintenance on presses and other production equipment Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs as needed Decide when repairs should be handled in-house versus outside service providers Verify the quality of work completed by third party contractors Troubleshoot plant equipment using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge Work closely with production staff to ensure equipment is used correctly and downtime is minimized Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Four or more years of related maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing facility Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and blueprints; machine shop familiarity is helpful Proficient with common hand tools and measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers Strong understanding of industrial systems including wiring, components, pneumatics, cooling systems, and hydraulics General knowledge of basic electrical concepts, mechanical systems, and metal fabrication Ability to read blueprints and schematics Inova Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer
