Underwriting Assistant

JCW is currently working on behalf of a leading specialty insurance provider focused on delivering tailored insurance solutions to a diverse range of P&C products. In this role, the Underwriting Assistant will be supporting an underwriter in assessing and processing insurance applications, performing risk evaluations, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process insurance applications, including collecting and verifying necessary documentation. Ensure all information is complete and accurate before submission to underwriters.
  • Help in issuing and updating policies, endorsements, and renewals. Track policy changes and maintain up-to-date records in the underwriting system.
  • Provide general administrative support to the underwriter, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and organizing files.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Underwriting Assistant or similar role
  • E&S experience is a MUST
  • 3-4 days in the office required
