Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Technical Project Manager -

Hardware and Mechanical Design .

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage hardware and mechanical design projects, working closely with our ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) partners in China.

The Technical Project Manager will work

closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to ensure that all technical decisions align with our product goals and user experience standards.

Key Responsibilities •

Collaborate with ODM and OEM partners in China to define hardware and mechanical design specifications. •Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to production. •Provide technical guidance and decision-making support on hardware and mechanical design changes. •Ensure that all designs meet user experience requirements, aesthetic standards, and functional goals. •Conduct regular project reviews and update stakeholders on progress, challenges, and solutions. •Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure project deliverables are met on schedule.

Qualifications •

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. •Proven experience in hardware and mechanical design, preferably in a technical project management role. •Strong knowledge of product development processes, including working with ODM and OEM partners. •Fluent in Mandarin Chinese to effectively communicate with partners in China. •Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed technical decisions. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. •Experience with CAD software and other design tools is a plus. •

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Compensation: •This role starts as a part-time, remote position compensated with stock options only. There will be opportunities to convert to a full-time role based on company and individual's performance.
