We are seeking a dynamic Marketing and Communications Associate to join our event fundraising firm. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to meaningful causes, this opportunity is for you As a Marketing and Communications Associate, you will: Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote our fundraising events and initiatives. Craft compelling content for various channels, including social media, email, press releases, and promotional materials. Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partners. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms. Engage with the community and media to raise awareness about our events and causes. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Key Responsibilities: Create and manage content for social media, website, email campaigns, and other communication channels. Develop press releases and coordinate with media outlets to secure coverage for events. Assist in organizing and promoting fundraising events, including logistical support and on-site coordination. Maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and partners through regular communication and updates. Monitor social media and other communication channels to engage with the audience and respond to inquiries. Support the development of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional videos. Analyze the success of marketing campaigns and communication efforts, using data to inform future strategies. Desired Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends for events. Passion for making a positive impact through fundraising and community engagement.
