STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Compliance Coordinator for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Detroit, MI Title: Compliance Coordinator Location: Detroit, MI (Remote in EST/CST) Duration: 5 Months Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement Job/Role Description: Remote Position - candidates required to be in central or eastern time zone Position will be reviewing calls submitted through the Compliance Hotline and FWA referrals from other sources to provide an initial assessment determining if there is enough information to open a case in the case management system. Coordinator will open the case in the system and pull basic claims information from Cognos. Will be required to contact members to validate and substantiate complaints. Will also be tracking and trending of referrals and case types as well as other administrative duties assigned to assist and support the SIU Manager and investigators. Key Responsibilities Assist Compliance department staff with the facilitation of Compliance led committees and meetings. Lead meetings, and Compliance Department meetings. Coordinate the development of Compliance material for multiple Boards and Audit and Compliance subcommittees. Maintain and communicate key compliance metrics and dashboards within the department and to key stakeholders. Assist with review cycle of Compliance policies and procedures to ensure policies meet regulatory managed care requirements including NCQA standards. Assist with maintaining the policy log. Develop and publish quarterly compliance newsletters for all staff. Maintain the Compliance departments website and other Compliance and Regulatory resources including policies & procedures, library materials, etc. Coordinate and lead Compliance Week activities for the company on an annual basis. Maintain Compliance courses including the design, development or modification of instructional material for mandatory and specialty training courses, which includes working with Subject Matter Experts to identify what students need to learn. Required Experience One (1) year administrative and project coordination experience in a health insurance or professional business environment. One (1) year of experience in health insurance managed care environment is preferred. Associates degree or equivalent of 3 years relevant compliance experience.
