Job Overview: The Housekeeping Worker is responsible for cleaning patient rooms, nursing units, clinical/waiting areas, rest rooms, elevators and corridors. In addition, this individual will sweep, mop, buff, and vacuum; perform other janitorial functions as instructed. The Housekeeping Worker will take lead in performing all phases of Environmental Services in the assigned unit and perform the specific tasks in the absence of a supervisor.
