UNIV - Project Manager - Business Operations UNIV - Project Manager - Business Operations at MUSC Health The Project Manager supports the Director of Business Operations by coordinating, tracking, and executing strategic and operational projects across multiple auxiliary and support service units. This position ensures project milestones, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved on schedule and within scope, enhancing the operational efficiency of MUSCs Business Operations portfolio. Entity Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC - Univ) Worker Type Employee Classified Pay Information Pay Rate: Salary Pay Grade: University-07 Pay Range: $57,334.00 $81,707.00 $106,080.00 Schedule 40 hours per week. Shift Not specified. Responsibilities Lead and manage the execution of assigned projects from initiation through completion (25%). Develop project charters, define scope and timelines, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and aligned with Business Operations goals. Track progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and resource needs. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, dashboards, and task?tracking systems for Business Operations initiatives (20%). Ensure project documentationincluding meeting notes, action logs, and deliverable recordsis accurate, accessible, and up to date. Provide regular status reports to the Director of Business Operations and other leadership stakeholders. Serve as a central liaison among Business Operations units (Parking & Transportation, Mail Services, Printing Services, etc.) to ensure consistent communication, coordination, and alignment of operational priorities (20%). Facilitate meetings, prepare briefings and summaries, and ensure timely follow?up on action items and deliverables. Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improved efficiency, data tracking, and reporting across operational units (15%). Support the implementation of new tools, technologies, and best practices that enhance productivity and service quality (15%). Track project?related budgets, resource allocations, and financial impacts across Business Operations units (15%). Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Support Services, and other relevant leaders, to align projects with self?sustaining auxiliary enterprise expectations and university fiscal policies. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director in support of the operational efforts of Business Operations and other units within the Operations division (5%). Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Three years of relevant project management experience. Certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset. Physical Requirements Continuous 68 hours per shift; Frequent 26 hours per shift; Infrequent 02 hours per shift. Ability to perform job functions in upright, seated, walking/mobile positions. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather. Ability to work in confined/cramped spaces, kneeling, squatting, pinching, and with both hands/arms. Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders. Reach in all directions. Good finger dexterity. Maintain tactile sensory functions. Light lifting: up to 15 lbs. Vision and hearing acuity: 20/40 corrected, depth perception, peripheral vision. Gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements. (Summarized).
