Overview: SOLTECH is seeking an eager, and fast paced Python Developer to join a growing team based our of Louisville, TN Do you thrive in an environment where you get to flex your problem solving muscle? Come join us Qualified candidates will be local to the Louisville/Knoxville area and willing to travel into the office on a regular basis.

C2C candidates will not be considered. Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities: Debug, test, and deploy applications while troubleshooting bugs as they arise Collaborate on a regular basis with a lean team to solve problems large and small Develop high quality code in a timely manner while following best practices Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times, and be willing to learn from mistakes Maintain a self-starting mentality – candidates who do well in this role will not be order takers, but will seek out opportunities to contribute strongly to the team Develop automated testing alongside new features

Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a highly collaborative environment focused on Python development Current experience developing robust and scalable backend systems using Python Demonstrated knowledge of front end developing including Typescript (bonus points if you also have worked with Svelte) Superior understanding of AWS and AWS functions Qualified candidates will be capable of learning new technologies and tools on the job Superior understanding of software development best practices and scrum methodologies Qualified candidates must currently be located in the Louisville/Knoxville area and willing to go into the Louisville, TN office on a regular basis
