Prosoft is seeking qualified candidates for the role of for our client based in Louisville, Kentucky.This is a full-time, direct-hire position that is open to local and/or remote candidates who live within 3 hours of Louisville, Kentucky Our client is only able to hire candidates with Green Card or US Citizenship status and they are unable to provide work sponsorship at this timeThis role is not open to C2C candidatesResponsibilities:As a hands-on Software Development Manager for a team of 6-7 Software Engineers, your duties will be split between technical leadership/management (85%) and hands-on coding (15%). Plan, direct, and manage the work of technical teams and the development life cycle for projects and software products.Perform Technical Lead duties for the team, including resource and capacity planning, architecture and system design, driving improvements in software engineering practices, providing technical guidance, etc.Remove blockers and impediments to enable the team to successfully complete work.Facilitate estimates of project requests, define project scopes, and set delivery schedules and timelines to successfully deliver applications and solutions on time and on budget.Mentor developers and perform code reviews on a regular basis.Provide coaching and support the career growth of developers through 1-on-1 meetings and performance reviews.Work with other Development Managers, Architects, Software Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to solve complex business problems. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of hands-on Software Engineering experience, with 2+ years of leadership experience working as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, Development Manager, or similar role. Experience with various software architectures including but not limited to, service-oriented architecture, and message-driven architecture, event-driven architecture, microservices, etc.Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack web applications.Backend development experience with any combination of the following:C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Node.js, Nest.jsWeb API, RESTful API, SOAP, GraphQL, Open API SQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or similar Front-End development experience with any combination of the following:JavaScript / TypeScriptAngular, Vue.js, React.js, Next.jsStrong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and technologiesHands-On experience with CI/CD and DevOpsExperience in an automated testing environmentDesired (not required) Qualifications: Experience with Python and familiarity with AI and Machine Learning toolkits Benefits: Competitive Salary + BonusUnlimited PTO + Paid Holidays Health Insurance 401k Plan + Additional Retirement benefits
