Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Activities:
- Evaluate candidates against job and hospital privileging requirements with a keen eye for detail.
- With precision, track recruitment activities in the ATS and ensure legal compliance.
- Conduct pre-screen interviews with confidence and promote Salem Health passionately.
- Coordinate on-site interviews and provide training to interview panels while staying agile to the changing dynamics of our operations.
- Develop offers including compensation, bonuses and relocation assistance, ensuring every detail is meticulously handled.
- Manage agency spend and track recruitment effectiveness with a commitment to results.
- Provide insights on regional and national hiring trends to optimize recruitment strategies, showing a proactive and future looking mentality.
Candidate Service & Sourcing:
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with candidates and hiring leaders to ensure a positive, white glove recruitment experience.
- Enthusiastically source candidates through various channels, including career fairs, social media and professional networks.
- Develop a talent network for future hires and maintain relationships with potential candidates.
- Initiate credentialing processes and collaborate on pre-onboarding activities, ensuring all details are managed with focus.
Recruitment Strategy & Consultation:
- Partner with hiring managers to develop and drive effective recruitment strategies.
- Provide guidance on recruitment and selection processes, confidently supporting hiring leaders.
- Collaborate and partner with Employer Brand to create and execute recruitment campaigns.
- With a forward-thinking mentality utilize new student, fellowship, residency programs to introduce new graduates into the recruitment pipeline.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in lean initiatives and process improvement projects, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
- Develop professional relationships with stakeholders, embodying an engaging and empathetic communication style.
Background/Education:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required (preference in healthcare, business, marketing, HR, or related field).
- In lieu of a bachelor's degree: Associate degree with 3 years recruitment experience, OR 8 years recruitment experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience developing relationships with providers or senior leaders.
- Preferred: Salem Health experience, understanding of multi-disciplinary settings, working knowledge of clinic operations, experience in provider recruitment.
