Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Specialist located in Joliet, IL. The Construction Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with construction projects, including managing budgets, overseeing construction operations, collaborating with architects and contractors, conducting inspections, and utilizing Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

  • Budgeting and Construction skills
  • Experience in architecture and inspection
  • Calling in Underground locate tickets for existing utilities throughout Midwest cities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple construction projects
  • Relevant certification or degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction industry

Experience or knowledge in energy efficient and sustainable building practices is a plus.
