Job Title: Architectural Support-Content Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Support-Content Specialist to join our team at Hörmann North America. As a key member of our Architectural Support initiative, you will play a crucial role in creating state-of-the-art content for Architects and Engineers.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will possess creative problem-solving capabilities and expertise in Autodesk Revit. Day-to-day responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, user-friendly Autodesk Revit families of Hörmann products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop efficient, user-friendly Autodesk Revit families of Hörmann products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external consultants to ensure reliable and accurate results.
  • Implement and maintain a best practices policy for content development following industry standards and incorporate content user's feedback.
  • Create and maintain content documentation, including formulas, custom shared parameters, and user guide media.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex family content issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a NAAB accredited architecture program.
  • High level proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other common Architectural Design Software.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities (particularly content-creation).
  • Knowledge of standardized Architectural Drafting conventions and Construction Drawing techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Passion for creative product content development.
  • Willingsness to learn and apply new knowledge throughout career development.
  • Autodesk Revit for Architectural Design Professional Certification a plus.
